Kerri Paone

Kerri Paone is the Pre-K 3 and Toddlin’ Two’s teacher at Notre Dame Academy. She is a graduate of St. Joseph’s College, where she concentrated in early childhood education and speech communication disorders. Kerri is also a certified Montessori instructor and is currently pursuing additional certifications in early childhood special education. Prior to NDA, Kerri has taught in the universal pre-k setting (UPK), helping community-based programs launch Pre-K For All curriculums. Kerri has attended many workshops to learn and master useful strategies as an educator. They include early childhood yoga, music together, process art for preschoolers, sensory integration, and music and movement.

Kerri combines her passion for the Montessori philosophy, and current knowledge of teaching strategies to create a unique but nurturing environment for early learners. In her classroom, children are mentored and encouraged to learn through differentiated materials and activities. They are taught life skills to promote their independence and build confidence. Kerri creates a stimulating environment that nurtures creativity, self-expression and encourages social development. She is ecstatic to take part in the foundational years of future academic endeavors of the girls at Notre Dame Academy.
